Do you have a passion for plants, the planet, and growing food perennially? A couple of hours or more per month? Forest Caretakers are a network of people who contribute to ongoing seasonal care of the food forest. Caretakers help with activities such as managing organic materials; soil building; collecting, propagating and caring for plants; watering and weeding; harvesting and processing. Contact Wes.

Do you have a passion for learning and play? Learning Team members can help in a few different ways: Help prepare ready-to-use learning guides and materials for teachers and/or volunteers to deliver. Take the ready-to-use guides and materials and bring them to life with students of various ages. Help develop and support a composting program that brings appropriate food waste from the cafeteria and classrooms to the composting area, creating a closed-loop school-to-forest soil building system. Lead young children’s activities at community work parties. Contact Teresa.

Help out on a casual basis, with tasks such as: providing food and refreshments for work parties; helping with events; miscellaneous tasks and errands. Contact Teresa.
